Acar; Indonesian's Simplest Dish and How to Make It

Acar is kind of preserved food. It usually served with another dish like Fried Rice, meat or chicken Satay, Martabak Telur, or we can eat it without any dishes. The taste of Acar is sour and wry. That's why many people don't really like this food. Regardless of the taste, the food is very healthy and refreshing. Because all of the ingredients are vegetables. And how to make this meal is very simple. You don't need many stuffs to do it. The ingredients: - Cucumber - Carrot - Shallot - Chili - Salt -Vinegar - Sugar All you have to do is, you just have to chop cucumber and carrot into a small dice, and llalso chop the onion into a small size. After all, you can put them into a bowl and mix them together with salt, sugar and vinegar sufficiently. Taste it. Baso itself has its own name or made. It depends on who made Baso, who is the owner, and where they're from. For instance, if the owner is from Wonogiri, Central Java, the name of Baso is Baso asli Wonogiri or Originally Wonogiri Meatball. How about the taste? Absolutely different one to another. In Indonesia, everyone loves Baso. Who doesn't? From kid to adult likes it. We can eat it just for a meal or main dish. Year by year, Baso seller made many innovations by selling Baso. It's not only the original or usual Baso, but also the name, shape, and Baso looks like. Baso Beranak, Baso Jumbo, Baso kerikil, Baso Aci, are one of the name of it. And people are very enthusiastic to try the new one.
