Baso Jumbo


One of favorite Indonesian's meal is meatball or Bakso or Baso. We can find that food in every place, city or town. Whenever you go, in every meter you can meet Baso.

Baso itself has its own name or made. It depends on who made Baso, who is the owner, and where they're from. For instance, if the owner is from Wonogiri, Central Java, the name of Baso is Baso asli Wonogiri or Originally Wonogiri Meatball. How about the taste? Absolutely different one to another.

In Indonesia, everyone loves Baso. Who doesn't? From kid to adult likes it. We can eat it just for a meal or main dish.

Year by year, Baso seller made many innovations by selling Baso. It's not only the original or usual Baso, but also the name, shape, and Baso looks like. Baso Beranak, Baso Jumbo, Baso kerikil, Baso Aci, are one of the name of it. And people are very enthusiastic to try the new one.

Indonesia has some traditional drinks that has some benefits for our body. One of them is Wedang Jahe.  Wedang Jahe comes from Javanese which means Ginger Drink. Getuk Lindri, Indonesian Traditional Food Made from Cassava

Getuk or Gethuk is a Javanese traditional Food. It is made from cassava. There are some variants of Getuk. One of them is called Getuk Lindri. It has the softest texture than the other Getuk. In early 2000, this food was one of traditional food that can be found everywhere easily. Since there were so many kinds of food came up, this traditional food was a bit forgotten, even most of Indonesian millennial generations don't know this food. Year by year the seller of this food is less and the food is hard to find. Getuk Lindri still can be found in some places or in traditional market. But I rarely find it in the city or the region where I live in. I love Getuk Lindri much more the other Getuk. So, when I find the seller on the road, I feel so lucky that I can eat that food.
