Akar Kelapa, The Indonesian Traditional Snack

 


Akar Kelapa is the Betawi snack. It is one of the special snacks that has to be served in Betawi's House every Lebaran's day. 

The name of Akar Kelapa is taken from its shape. Akar Means root and Kelapa Means coconut. So, the shape of this snack is like coconut root. 

Akar Kelapa is an old snack that still exists until now. The taste of this snack is sweet and tasty. It's crunchy when you take a bite.
