Kue Cucur, The Indonesian Traditional Sanck

Kue Cucur or Cucur cake is one of Indonesian traditional foods that can be found throughout traditional marketplaces in Indonesia. However the popular version is from Betawi, Jakarta. The main ingredients of this food are rice flour and palm sugar. The shape of this food is round, it's thick in the middle and thin at the edges. It tastes sweet and delicious.

Kue Cucur was a famous food in Jakarta and surroundings areas, including my city, Bekasi, West Java. I used to eat this for my breakfast almost every day and be of one my favorite traditional food. I bought it from cake seller who sells the the traditional cakes walks around my place.

A long time ago we still can find Kue Cucur easily. Nowadays, we just can find it in a certain traditional market. But since I know how to make it, I can eat this food whenever I want. It's easy to make but a bit tricky.
